Red Simpson... meet Paul Brandt...

It's a pretty exciting month y'all... there's been a lot of activity in the Barn...

I'm headed back from a quick trip to Shanghai, China, supporting the City of Edmonton in their bid process for the 2017 World Expo.  I hope they get it!

We're also launching a new single.  This will be the first release from the "Now" project, and it's an interesting one.

"The Highway Patrol" is a really neat song.  I heard it for the first time performed by Junior Brown Stateside, and have always loved the song.  Researching it recently I came across the original Red Simpson song, and started learning about his truck drivin' past.  A cool segue from "Convoy" I thought, even though it's technically not a truckin' song.  You can check out more about Red HERE.  You'll be hearing the new single Sept 13th, the day after the CCMA performance, and a video is soon to come.
