UFA - SMALL TOWN HEROES CONTEST
Win a free Paul Brandt concert for your community!
UFA is honouring those who are making a difference in your community.
The backbone of rural communities and small towns across Alberta is its people. In these communities, there are certain individuals that do all the right things to make their town a better place to live. And, they do it without any thought for themselves. They are our small town heroes. Two winning small town heroes will be selected by our panel. The winners will each receive a free concert by Paul Brandt in their community. And, $2,500 to go towards their community efforts. Eight runner ups will each receive $1,000 for their community.

We have some small town heroes we would like to honor. Jean Quigley and Eric Waslyenko who by rallying the community raised over 4million dollars to get a Country Hospice in Rural Alberta near Okotoks.
Now we face an operational cost of 500,000 per year and thus we continue to fund raise.
We have had computer problems and now I pray you will still consider our nomination. This Hospice is certainly making a difference in the lives of over 100 patients and their loved ones per year. www.countryhospice.org
I worked with Paul and his mother at the children's and Holy Cross / Rockyview Hospitals. This would be great if you would consider us and help us with our fundraising goals.
